Refund policy

Return, Refund, and Exchange:

While it is our constant endeavour to deliver only the highest quality products to our clients, we do accept that this is a subjective topic, and therefore, we understand that you are not likely to appreciate every single piece that we might consider as one of our best curations and/or creations. In view thereof, we have outlined our return, exchange, and refund policy which is as follows:

 

  1. All return, exchange, and refund requests are to be made within 2 days from receipt.
  2. Returns are accepted in case of you receiving a damaged product or if you are convinced that the product does not match the quality, design, or style shown in the pictures. In both cases, you are required to write to us at info@shahtootindia.com within two days of receipt of the order citing the reasons for your request.
  3. Once we have received the intimation, we will guide you with the way forward which is that you will have to pack the product in a tamper proof packaging and ship it to the address provided to you by our team by way of an email. Please note that you are required to dispatch the product within two days of our last correspondence.
  4. Since we are a small homegrown brand, we cannot accommodate reverse pickups on orders which are returned for whatsoever reasons and therefore, are vocal about the requirement of the return shipment cost to be borne by the client themselves.
  5. Once you have processed the reverse shipment, you are required to provide us the tracking details of the same along with a photograph of the front and reverse side of the package, to ensure the status in which the package was handed over to the courier company.
  6. On receipt of the above shipment by us, we will examine the condition of the product and process your return request within 5 days of receiving the package. Please note, we do not refund the amount, we only provide credit vouchers with a six month timeline which can be availed at the time of check out whenever you are shopping with us again. The same is exclusive of shipping charges on your next purchase with us.
  7. We reserve the right to accept or decline the request for return and refund if the damage is not a manufacturing damage but one which has been inflicted by you by mistake, or if the product has been worn, used, dry-cleaned.
  8. We do not offer exchange of on any products.
  9. Shahtoot is not responsible for the loss of products sent by you and will not accept the delivery of the package if the outer packaging has been tampered with.
  10. Bespoke or customised orders cannot be cancelled or returned.
  11. Any or all products on clearance are not eligible for an exchange or return.
  12. For all handmade products, irregularities which may occur are characteristic of the handcrafted process and are not counted as a defect in the product.
